This Privacy Policy describes how EasyScreen (“EasyScreen,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, dashboard, APIs, and the EasyScreen Player app for Android TV and Google TV (together, the “Services”).

1. Who this applies to

The Services are for businesses and individuals who manage digital signage. This policy covers both the web dashboard (where you create an account and control screens) and the player app (which runs on a TV or similar display).

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. We do not store your password in plain text.

Content you provide

You may upload images and videos, enter text, paste website or YouTube URLs, name screens and files, and type prompts (and optional reference images) for AI-generated signs. That content is stored so we can display it on the screens you pair.

Screen and device information

When you install EasyScreen Player and pair a display, the app sends information needed to operate signage, including:

• A unique install identifier and device authentication tokens
• Device model, operating system version, app version, and platform (for example, Android TV)
• Display resolution, orientation, refresh rate, and available storage
• Whether the screen is online, what it is currently showing, and pairing or command status

The player app is for signage. It does not access your personal contacts, photos, microphone, or location for advertising.

Technical and security information

We record IP addresses and related request data for a short time to prevent abuse (rate limiting) and to keep the Services secure. The website uses a session cookie named easyscreen so we can keep you signed in and protect forms with a security token. That cookie is necessary for the dashboard to work. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Create and authenticate your account
• Pair screens, send playback commands, and show online/offline status
• Store and deliver the media and content you choose to display
• Generate AI signs when you ask us to
• Provide support, prevent abuse, and improve reliability of the Services
• Comply with law and enforce our terms

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the player app to show third-party ads.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Services:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS S3). Uploaded media and generated images are stored in our S3 bucket so screens can download them.
• xAI. If you use AI Sign Creator, your prompt and any reference image you attach are sent to xAI to generate the artwork. Do not include information in a prompt that you do not want a processor to see.
• YouTube / Google. If you choose to play a YouTube video on a screen, the player loads that video from YouTube. YouTube may collect data under Google’s own policies.
• Website assets. The public website loads Bootstrap CSS and JavaScript from a content delivery network so pages can render.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the Services, our users, or others.

Service providers process data on our instructions. They are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

5. Data retention

We keep account, screen, media, and event records while your account is active so the dashboard and player can function. Rate-limit records are deleted after a short period (about two days). If you delete your account from the dashboard, we remove your profile, paired screens, media, AI drafts, and related records. We may retain limited security logs for a short period. You can also email us at support@easyscreen.online for help with a deletion request.

6. Your choices

• You can update or review profile details in the dashboard Account page.
• You can unpair a screen, delete media, and discard unused AI drafts from the dashboard.
• You can delete your entire account from the Account page by confirming with your password.
• You can sign out at any time. Signing out clears the session cookie on that browser.

7. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as hashed passwords, HTTPS where configured, session cookies marked HttpOnly, and device tokens for the player. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use a strong unique password for your account.

9. International processing

We may process and store information in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. If you use the Services from another country, you understand that your information may be transferred to those locations.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
